Pam out of surgery; OK
Today Pam had a bilateral mastectomy and the first part of reconstructive surgery at UVA, so it was a long day with her actually in the OR for about 5 hours. She's resting in the hospital tonight. She's in pretty good shape, but very sore. I'm sure she will be blogging again very soon. Thank you to all our friends and family for your prayers and good wishes, Bill

We are so glad that this part of the ordeal is over. It seems as if waiting must be so hard,once you know the path to be taken. Pam, we love you and wish we could be with you and Bill during this hard time. Bill, thanks for blogging (and this from an anti-tech girl! I've learned to be a blog-lover,thanks to Pam.) Bill, remember to take care of yourself, too. We will continue to pray for both of you. Love, Terry, Charlie and kids
